Japanese Sunken Garden
The first of these image were shot as rain set in, and became a downpour, finally slowing to an all day drizzle. The interior shots of of the pagoda were shot earlier on a sunny, cloudless day. The name of the Japanese Tea Garden was changed to the Chinese Tea Garden during WWII. It was changes back to the original Japanese Tea Garden after relations were restored with Japan. Close-up images of flowers were added after a subsequent visit.
